Open the pedal set
1. Remove the screw securing the rear plastic cover, then remove the cover.
2. Disconnect the cable connector to separate the pedal body from the black plastic plate.
3. Remove the six screws securing the pedal.
Install the Brake Mod
4. Remove the existing grease, the original silver spring and the black plastic disc secured by the screw and nut.
5. Replace the original silver spring with the BRG Brake Mod.
Reassemble the pedal set
6. Refit the pedal and the six screws removed earlier.
7. Reconnect the cable connector, then refit the rear plastic cover and its screw.
Important notes
- Check that the connector is securely reconnected and the brake pedal moves correctly. Do not overtighten the screws.
