Logitech Deep Dish 70 mm Wheel Mod

1. Turn the wheel over. Remove the small rear screws and the L3 and R3 buttons.

2. Remove the six black screws from the front of the wheel.

3. Carefully remove the wheel and disconnect the circuit board connector.

4. Detach the paddles and the remaining button assembly from the motor base.

5. Secure the new adapter to the base.

6. Fit the Deep Dish wheel and secure the second adapter.

7. Remove the silver screws from the green circuit board, then the two large screws beneath the original metal plate. Remove the original wheel plate and the L2 and R2 buttons.

8. Refit the silver screws to the green circuit board.

9. Remove the two silver screws to detach the original paddles.

10. Attach the original paddles to the magnetic paddle extensions supplied in the kit using the supplied screws.

11. Refit the body to the wheel without the paddles, using the three supplied silver screws.

12. Position the magnetic paddle mod on the wheel body without tightening it yet.

13. Refit the paddles and their extensions to the body using the supplied screws.

14. Fit the black 3D-printed plate to the front of the button assembly. Reinstall the blue L2, L3, R2 and R3 buttons.

15. Reconnect the green circuit board to the base.

16. Fit the centre cap and reinstall the six original black front screws. Do not overtighten the lower screws, as this can interfere with the lower buttons.

17. Secure the magnetic paddle mod in its final position. Align the magnets on the two parts and check that shifting feels smooth, with the intended resistance.
